This Cartoon, drawn by Steve Pike, talks about the great debt for Whangarei residents towards the possible Old NRC Building turning into a Hundertwasser style building.  Friedensreich Hundertwasser was a designer/architect of the alternative style, where he liked to reuse aspects of the environment in construction, sometime producing very abstract buildings.

The drawing highlights how different looking things usually create allot of attention, even though depicting a car, still gets the point across that the Whangarei residents are still very undecided over to build a Hundertwasser building in Whangarei is a good thing or not.
